Children used acorns, pine cones and all matter of items to create decorations at Nature’s Christmas at Metea County Park, 8401 Union Chapel Road, on Saturday. Heavy snow fell as DeKalb County Horsemen’s Association gave guests wagon rides while inside the Gloria Goeglein Nature Center children sat with Father Christmas for photos, enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate and went table to table to do crafts.
