The Fort Wayne Philharmonic treated about 200 or more music lovers to a free concert Friday in the Crescendo Cafe inside Sweetwater, 5501 U.S. 30 W. in Fort Wayne.

The performance was part of the Philharmonic’s Live at Lunch series, which is designed to take music to people’s workplaces and convenient public spaces, an orchestra news release said.

Caleb Young, the Phil’s assistant conductor, led the orchestra through the concert.

The orchestra performed a variety of classical music, including works by Johann Strauss, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert.
