No Garbage on Monday. Cindy’s Diner is closed. We trust that the staff of the 15-seat diner enjoyed the Philadelphia Eagles’ 41-33 win over the New England Patriots in Sunday’s Super Bowl LII. The restaurant has been sporting Fly Eagles Fly on the front and served its first Philly Cheese Steak on Friday. A sign on the front said the restaurant, 230 W. Berry St., will reopen at 6 a.m. Tuesday for those hungry for their favorite menu items, including Garbage – a mix of hash brown potatoes, ham, onion, cheese and egg fried together. The diner is normally open 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
