You won’t have to conjure up a spell or find a portkey to get back to the world of Harry Potter and Hogwarts.

Allen County Public Library branches have a summer of magical fun planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of the “Harry Potter” book series in the United States. A variety of Potterfest activities will take place through July at library branches.

The first book in the series, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” was published Sept. 1, 1998, in the United States. The seventh and final book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” was published on July 21, 2007.
