I wish to comment briefly on an editorial (April 7), a column (April 7) and two guest columns (March 30 and April 5).
The “home rule” editorial conclusion “Home rule or its lack affects us all” is proof positive of one party rule in Indiana. It's based in what Terry Doran called, “might makes right” (April 7.)
Star Parker's “absurdity of writing Trump's obituary” after only 75 days of his “first 100 days” column April 7 is absurd itself. Well, he has about two weeks left to fulfill his promises to voters of what he would do in those 100 days. Absurdity, huh? We'll see soon enough.
Rob Rinearson's guest column about “common sense” takes me to the very best and factual statement about ISTEP in a guest column by Andrea Neal. I and many others in the educational and psychological testing field fought ISTEP all the way.
