The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday morning.

At 9:53 a.m., the sheriff's department was called to a crash on south-bound Interstate 69 at the 325 mile marker, according to a news release from Sgt. Dave Cserep.

Justin M. Jewett, 27, of Eaton Ohio, was driving southbound in a Hyundai Accent and said a Toyota Matrix driven by Andrew S. Tudor, 42, of New Castle cut him off, according to Cserep. Jewett's vehicle ran into the back of Tudor's, which caused Tudor to lose control. Tudor's Toyota went off the west side of the road and down an embankment about 20 feet before coming to rest in bushes along the highway fence. Tudor had no visible injuries but complained of back pain. He was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center for treatment. Jewett was cited for following to close, according to Cserep.

The Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Auburn Police Department and DeKalb County EMS.
