Friday’s Blocknobben a party on the plaza

A crowd celebrated films at Friday evening’s Blocknobben, a block party during the four-day Hobnobben Film Festival at Arts United Plaza, 303 E. Main St. Local breweries and food trucks, live music, and vendors connected to the arts scene provided were part of the event. An outdoor screening of “No Country For Old Men” with a live score from local musician Ben Larson was planned for the end of the evening. The festival goes through Sunday and includes an award ceremony 7-9 tonight at Ian Rolland Gallery at the Arts United Center, which is free for passholders and $20 for those without.
