Celebrate Longest Day with bridge

The Longest Day will be celebrated Wednesday at The Fort Wayne Bridge Club, 4618 E. State Blvd. with a fundraiser to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Party Bridge will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by Duplicate Bridge at 1 p.m. There will be a silent auction of gift cards for local eateries along with a number of books and CDs on Bridge for those wishing to improve their game.

<center> Parkview Group opens new clinic </center><br>

Parkview Physicians Group will open its newest primary care clinic at 11055 Twin Creeks Cove, off Lima Road, Wednesday. The clinic wil; house three family physicians and one pediatrician in addition to a part-time family physician and two full-time practitioners. Capacity exists to house up to four more providers.

<center> Free dental care for vets Saturday </center><br>

Aspen Dental practices across the country, including here in Fort Wayne, will host a day of free dental care for veterans Saturday. Veterans made appointments in advance at a participating office. <br>

<center> Donate blood for park tickets </center><br>

The American Red Cross and Cedar Fair theme parks are partnering to offer a free Cedar Fair park ticket to those who donate blood at select blood drives. Donors can also enter to win one of three grand prize packages for four to Knott’s Berry Farm in California or Cedar Point in Ohio. Now through Sept. 4, donors can also visit redcrossblood.org/cedarfair to enter to win a grand prize package and take advantage of an exclusive ticket offer that gives $2 of each ticket purchased online back to the Red Cross.

Monroe St., Decatur; 12-4 p.m. July 8 at Three Rivers Festival, Bloodmobile bus on Barr St.; and 1-7 p.m. July 12 at Scout Park Conference Center, 2300 Meyer Road.
