State Police investigate possible shots fired at trucker on Toll Road
Indiana State Police say that a trucker’s windshield was shattered Sept. 23 by what may have been shots fired from an overpass above the Indiana Toll Road in Steuben County.
Just after midnight that day, the ISP Toll Road post was called regarding possible shots fired at a semi just east of the exit for Interstate 69 and Angola.
A preliminary investigation found that the semi was headed east on the Toll Road when the driver reported seeing two flashes of light from the overpass before his windshield shattered.
A projectile passed through the windshield of the semi and continued out the back window. State Police ask that if anyone has any information on this case or sees any suspicious activity to call the Indiana State Police Toll Road Post at 574-206-2931.
