The Indiana State Police is investigating the death of a 23-year-old Noble County Jail inmate after he was found unconscious and unresponsive in his cell Wednesday night.
Confinement officers were conducting routing cell checks at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when they found Markus Neal Middleton, of Albion. Confinement officers began life-saving measures until medics arrived. Middleton was pronounced dead at 9:01 p.m.
