SnapChat baby mama drama ends in Fort Wayne Police call

A man reported to Fort Wayne Police that he was punched in the face by a friend over a visit with others to the friend’s “baby mama’s” house that he had posted on SnapChat.

At 12:54 p.m. Tuesday two officers were dispatched on a report of a battery that happened Monday.

According to the report, the following allegedly occurred:

The alleged victim told police that just before 4 p.m. Monday he was at the gas station at the intersection of Hanna Street and McKinnie Avenue when the friend parked his vehicle next to his, came around the rear of his vehicle and punched him once in the face. The friend was upset that the victim had visited his baby mama’s house with other friends. The victim “stated that several of them got into an argument and put it on SnapChat.

(The victim) stated that (his friend) saw it and was mad at (him) so he went to the gas station and hit” the victim. The victim said his friend recorded the gas station attack with his cell phone and that he wanted to press charges. Officers saw the left side of the victim’s face was swollen and took photos of his injuries.
