Fort Wayne man accused of dealing heroin
A Fort Wayne man was arrested after the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice & Narcotics Division and Emergency Services Team served a search warrant Wednesday in the 7400 block of Hickory Creek Drive.
Narcotics detectives received information that someone at the address was dealing heroin, according to a news release from Capt. Kevin Hunter. They allegedly bought heroin from Robert Lee Williams, 65, several times and they got a search warrant for the home, according to Hunter.
Williams was served the warrant and taken into custody. Police allegedly found several syringes and other drug paraphernalia during the search. A woman at the home was not arrested.
Williams was charged with four counts dealing a narcotic drug (heroin), a Level 4 felony;, one count of dealing a narcotic drug, a Level 5 felony; and possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony.
This investigation is ongoing.
