A man whose body was found early Friday morning in the 200 block of West Berry Street at Webster Street, committed suicide, according to the Allen County coroner’s office.

Police were called at 4:34 a.m. Friday after a worker found the man’s severely injured body at a construction site, police previously said. Officers were told that someone had arrived at work and found the man unresponsive.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. Detectives and crime scene technicians were called to the scene. However, the man intentionally jumped to his death and left suicide notes, according to the coroner’s office. News-Sentinel.com is not naming him because it does not release information on suicides. The website previously reported the incident because it was a public incident that was being investigated by police.
