1 ‘critical’, 3 others with minor injuries after two-vehicle Fort Wayne crash
A driver was in critical condition and three others were in good condition after a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning at Oxford Street and Holton Avenue.
Fort Wayne Police officers responded at around 6:35 a.m. to the intersection of Oxford and Holton to a call of a personal injury accident involving two vehicles, according to police spokesman John Chambers. Officers and paramedics found a male driver who was unresponsive and two female passengers inside one vehicle and a female victim inside another vehicle.
Paramedics provided medical attention to the victims before taking them to a local hospital, where the male driver was listed in critical condition. All three female victims were listed in good condition.
Investigators believe that one of the vehicles was traveling southbound on Holton and the other vehicle was traveling westbound on Oxford when they collided, according to Chambers.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department Fatal Alcohol Crash Team.
