Fort Wayne Police release images of OneMain Financial robbers

Photos of two hooded men entering and leaving the OneMain Financial during a robbery Tuesday evening have been released by Fort Wayne Police.

The two men, described as both black, about 5-foot, 10 inches, to 5-foot, 11 inches, tall are seen wearing black hoodies covering their heads during the 6:40 p.m. robbery of OneMain Financial at Southtown Crossing.

The two wore black masks and covered their faces with black bandannas, according to police. Both were armed with handguns and demanded cash from the two employees who were in the business at the time. The men were given an undisclosed amount of cash but before leaving they collected the employees’ cell phones. They were last seen leaving in a dark-color passenger car, according to police.

The two cell phones were recovered soon after in the intersection of North Phoenix Parkway and Southtown Crossing.

No was injured.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Bank Robbery Task Force.
