Private plow truck pulls gun on driver on Christmas Day, she tells Fort Wayne Police

A driver told Fort Wayne Police that a man in a snow plow truck pulled a gun on her after she merged into his traffic lane on Christmas Day.

According to a police report, the following occurred:

Police officers were called at 2:55 p.m. Monday to Fire Station No. 7 at Spring Street and Sprunger Avenue in reference to a party armed call. There, a woman said she had been traveling northbound on Hillegas Road from Illinois Road. The lane she was driving in began to end, so she merged into the left lane in front of a plow truck and behind two other plow trucks.

The driver of the truck behind her began to blow the horn and bumped into the back of her vehicle, which did not cause any damage that she could see later.

She said the driver of the truck in front of her began to hit its brakes and then leaned out the window and pointed a black handgun at her vehicle.

She played a video of her following the vehicle, which showed a partial Indiana license plate. The truck appeared to be a dark gray or black older-body style Ford F150 with a salt tank on the bed and snow plow on the front.

The woman had her children with her and they appeared to be upset over the situation.
