East State Boulevard has reopened to traffic, Fort Wayne City Utilities announced at 4:53 p.m. Friday.

The four-lane street had been closed since morning between Pemberton and Randallia drives to allow City Utilities crews to repair a break in a 6-inch water main there, a news release said. Motorists were asked to avoid that area until the break was repaired.
