Bishop Luers High School students accused of making threats
Several Bishop Luers High School students will face disciplinary action after reportedly making remarks on social media that included threats to a few teachers and possibly Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, local television station WANE, Channel 15.1, reported Monday.
The diocese, which operates Bishop Luers and other local Catholic schools, did not provide any details on the incident.
“The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend does not release information on internal disciplinary situations and resulting actions that maybe taken within a Catholic School,” Stephanie Patka of the diocese’s secretariat for communications said via email.
WANE reported a person contacted the station about the situation after reportedly discovering the students’ alleged comments on the Snapchat social media website.
