Fort Wayne native Angie Hicks of Angie’s List to speak at Northeast Indiana Innovation Center

Angie’s List co-founder Angie Hicks will speak about entrepreneurship at Northeast Indiana Innovation Center’s Ideas@Work Signature Conference in April.

Hicks, now chief customer officer at ANGI Homeservices, will speak on “What Does It Mean to Be An Entrepreneur” on April 17 at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, 10622 Parkview Plaza Drive.

“I enjoy being able to return to Fort Wayne and share my story,” Hicks said in a news release. “It’s exciting to see the work being done there and I’m happy to share from my experience, in the hope that it might inspire and help other entrepreneurs as they begin their journeys.”

This is the fifth annual Ideas@Work for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and students to celebrate entrepreneurship. The event is 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. April 17. Tickets cost $250 and can be ordered by going to

Hicks co-founded Angie’s List in 1995 to list reviews by users of home services. IAC’s HomeAdvisor bought the business in October 2017.
