1995 - The former site of Mutual Security Life Insurance Co. at 3000 Coliseum Blvd East, is one of three potential sites for a new U. S. Postal Service building.
1996 - Justin Hoggatt gets his first place medal for the 50 meter freestyle event at state finals in Indianapolis.
1998 - Fort Wayne firefighters work to put out a fire at CARE Inc. recycling yard. No one was injured in the blaze.
1998 - A local Iragi refugee holds a letter he will be sending to his family back in Iraq. He is afraid to have his picture taken or to have his name made public because he is unhappy with the way the Iraq Government is running their country.
1999 - A crew from the city Parks and Recreation Department smooths an area of Freimann Square. Sinkholes were discovered under the pavement, forcing summer events scheduled at the park to be moved.
1999 - These circut boards are manufactured by UT Electronics - Carrier Divison in Huntington. They boards are built with the company's Universal Surface Mount Machine and used in environmental control devices.
2000 - Newly appointed Fort Wayne Fire Chief Tim Davie has been with the department since 1981. Davie is trying to spruce up the department,s image by devoting himself to public relations.
2000 - A resident of Yoder House in his room. The County will be building another group home, this time for girls, they are hoping to break ground on the project in April.
2003 - Komets Equipment Manager Joe Franke replaces the insole to a skate after replacing one of the rivets.
2005 - Zoo Veterinarian Joe Smith examines a black Swan's eyes during a routine physical at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. By keeping up on physicals, animals are kept healthy and small problems are spotted before they become large ones.
2005 - Colleen Poncin waves her handicaped tag towards attendants after honking her horn at a Shell station at State Boulevard and Maplecrest Road. After waiting ten minutes, no one came out to offer serrvice.
2006 - Clear Lake residents Karen, left, and Dan Hoagland, right, describe the outline of the small wood deck they built on their property - which was stolen during the summer of 2004.
2007 - Daniel Woodruff stands on a ladder to adjust the canvas of the teepee erected during the set up for the Michilimackinac Discovery Expo which will be held at the YWCA on Wells St. March 5-9.
