1993 - Bruce Bohkne, a NIPSCO welder digs to shut off a gas line along the 5000 block of Lake Ave. after a gas line caught fire (maybe from lighting) during a storm.
1993 - Actors for the play "The Dream Revisited" portray Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. The costumed people are angels in the play by local playwriter Leoroy Page.
1994 - IPFW Assistant Coach Mark Franke, (far right) is never far away from Ernie Ball during a IPFW volleyball game.
1997 - Police crime scene technicians mark the sites of blood spots on the sidewalk outside a home at 4030 Reed St. as they investigate a homicide.
1998 - ProMow president Merle Short, foreground, and owner Doug Short show the large reel mowers that the Fort Wayne company sells. Because joined mowers can cut 12-foot swathes, ProMow is starting to market to commercial customers with large lawns.
1998 - Fort Wayne firefighters break ventilation holes in the roof of a house at 2621 Chandler Dr. on Wednesday morning, April 15. The fire department recieved the call at 8:30 a.m. and had the fire under control 25 minutes later. An adult female dog and six puppies died in the fire. The homeowner believed the fire started with a heater in the garage.

2003 - Kirby Thompson, Natural Resources Program Administrator for the St. Joseph River Watershed Initiative, logs water quality test results from water samples taken of Cedar Creek from the Tonkel Road bridge.
2004 - Homestead baseball pitcher Josh Schwartz sets to deliver to the plate with a runner on first at Concordia High School, Thursday afternoon.
2006 - Snider's Artis Chambers clears the bar in the high jump competition at the North Side Relays on Saturday at North Side High School.
2008 - The latest addition to Jeff McMeekin's vast collection of Military coins and badges. This is the most expensive addition to his collection, he bid for it on EBay.
2008 - Jill Long-Thompson, primary democratic canidate for governor waves to her supporters at IPFW's Rhinehart Recital Hall Tuesday evening, where she participated with opponent Jim Schellinger in a televised debate covering such issues as, education, maintaining jobs, illegal immigration, and the economy.
2011 - Slice the circle of dough into eight triangles.
2013 - One of Fort Wayne's most historic but endangered buildings -- the Fairfield-Nestel house at 813 W. Creighton Ave. -- may finally get its long=-promised facelift. But first Ben Roney and friend Maggie Dye will need the city Board of Zoning Appeal's permission to restore the 155-year-old home to its original height.
2015 - Slips of white paper in these books in the Lincoln Collection at the Allen County Public Library signify that these books have been added to the digital collection online, as have about 1,300 other books and documents.
