WANE promotes Terra Brantley to replace exiting Heather Herron; Alyssa Ivanson moves to morning anchor

WANE-TV has named Terra Brantley as its new evening anchor. She’ll replace Heather Herron, who is leaving to become vice president of corporate communications at Sweetwater, effective May 29.

Brantley has been to promoted to anchor NewsChannel 15’s 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts with Brett Thomas, according to the station. Brantley is the station’s longtime First News weekday anchor.

As part of the moves, WANE’s Finds Out investigator Alyssa Ivanson will replace Brantley as First News weekday anchor with Pat Hoffmann.
