1994 - One of "Hansen's Bible Birds" shows the proper way to hurry off to church on a bicycle. Watching the bird perform is Dean Hansen, who helps his parents Wendell and Eunice Hanson with the gospel bird show.
1996 - Dennie Spuer, of Sky Tractors, dumps soybean seeds on a field off of Husted Road in eastern Allen County Wednesday morning. Some local farmers have resorted to planting their fields from the air because the ground is to wet to get a tractor in the field.
1997 - Attendees of the 18th Annual Indiana Water Resources Association meeting, being held in Angola this week, tour the diking project along the Maumee River in the Lakeside neighborhood near the intersection of Edgewater Avenue and Tecumseh Street. Dave Foster, from the Army Corps of Engineers, explained the details of the project to the group.
2001 - Northrop Pitcher Amy Kendall, know for her strikeouts, was named Softball Player of the year. The letter K is symbolic for a strike.
2004 - Northbound traffic on I-469 moves under the first of two powerful storms that moved across the area Sunday afternoon.

2012 - Zuri, 23, a giraffe at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo was looking for handouts at the feeding station Tuesday afternoon. Keeper Evan Smith was demonstrating how to feed her and showing some visitors how to do it themselves.

2017 - Beth and Chad Days stand at the sewing table in their rural Corunna shop holding a custom 28-foot Conestoga Cover that will house a customer’s pontoon boat. Zip-shut doors are installed on each side of the cover that line up with the opening in the pontoon’s railing.
