2000 - Clouds swirl past the NBD building downtown as storms moved through the area around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
2000 - Jason Dauge adjusts his tassel before the start of Richard Milburn High School's graduation ceremony Tuesday evening. Thirty-three students graduated from the alternative school.
2002 - Doran Kendall hangs manifold parts on a rack as they head on for the next step of the process at Fort Wayne Foundry in Columbia City.
2004 - The Wizards' right fielder Brian Wahlbrink takes a tumble after making a diving catch in the early part of Monday's game against the Peoria Chiefs in Memorial Stadium.
2004 - Eleven-year-old Taylor Buzzard of Folsom Lane, rides his bike through high water in the 7700 block of Valley Meadows Drive Sunday evening following Sunday's rain.
2006 - Eddie Paroczy of Convolution Records looks over albums brought in for sale by Lydia Ramirez and Joseph Noble. the batch of collectors' opera was a no sale, but the two had better success when they returned with some heavy metal selections.
2007 - Alec Bauer-Tindall throws a practice pitch to coach Colton Hissong on Wednesday morning at the Lane Middle School Wildcat site. Site Director Chad Kleinschmidt is off to the left and from left to right are Alec Reuille, Gabe Washington, Jared Harvey, Adam Whisler and Russell Davies. The Wildcat season opened Monday and the boys are part of the Kat Division.
2008 - Shelf fungi grows on a rotting stump in the woods on Chapman Road near the intersection of Coldwater Road. Area residents are concerned about a housing developer who plans to put in a subdivision in the wooded area north of Chapman Road and East of Coldwater Road.
2011 - The Chocolate Moose sells mainly burgers, fries, tenderloins and ice cream. It's in Farmland.
2011 - Construction of the Harrison, an $18 million residential, commercial and office building, was supposed to have been finished at Ewing Street and Jefferson Boulevard by summer 2009. City officials now expect the project to be completed by March 2013.
2012 - A small plane takes off at Fort Wayne International Airport Wednesday morning. Craig Williams, director of Operations & facilities for the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Facilities said that on the 12,000 foot runway a plane that size could take off and land four times.
2014 - Walter Font, curator of the History Center, protects the original flag. Tattered, worn and faded, the flag was covered in a protective mylar in 1986, however, it still holds together beautifully. Font also has a cotton reproduction of the flag that Guy Drewett was selling door-to-door.
2015 - A patron loads up a bratwurst with ketchup during lunch at Germanfest.
2016 - Oscar Billingsley, 68, relaxes as Nicole Mazzola-Helmkamp, 27, begins to trim his hair on Sunday at Be There & Cut Hair at Freimann Square. Victoria Gipson, the humanist director for FreeThought Fort Wayne said the group would probably do Be There & Cut Hair again.
