Fort Wayne man arrested in Florida on road-rage charges
A man believed connected to a fatal road-rage incident has been arrested in Florida. Fort Wayne Police say Brandon Michael Cook, 27, wanted for involuntary manslaughter, was arrested Thursday in Bay County near Panama City.
Orlando Fernandez died of a heart attack after allegedly being beaten by Cook shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 near the US 30/US 33 Interchange. Police say a man believed to be Cook left his vehicle, approached Fernandez and beat him before getting back into his vehicle and drove off. No other details were immediately available.
