Open house today on future of Franke Park

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation will host the first public open house regarding the Franke Park Master Plan today, Nov. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Franke Park Pavilion No. 1, 3411 Sherman Blvd. This project, in partnership with the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, will result in a comprehensive plan that will guide the park’s development over the next decade and beyond.

Community involvement is an important component to the future development of Franke Park. The public is invited to share ideas and concerns regarding how the park should grow and change, as well as the elements of the park which are important to remain unchanged. More information and a public survey can be found at frankeparkplan.com.
