Topeka man arrested on alleged robbery charges

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department announced officers have arrested one of two suspects alleged to have robbed a North Webster residence while armed.

Daniel J. Edgar, 30, of Topeka, was apprehended after 4 p.m. Tuesday inside a mobile home in the 300 block of West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, and taken into custody without incident. He faces a preliminary charge of felony robbery with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $20,250 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.

Monday's armed robbery occurred in the 8900 block of East Kosciusko County Road 500 North, North Webster.

Detectives are looking for a second suspect in the case — Jesse J. Roberson, 19, of North Webster. Roberson is 5-foot-8, weighs 135 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. Roberson has been known to frequent in Elkhart and Noble County, too.
