Second suspect arrested in Kosciusko County robbery case

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department announced officers have arrested the second suspect alleged to have robbed a North Webster residence while armed.

Jesse J. Roberson, 19, of North Webster, was arrested without incident shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday inside a residence in Cromwell. Roberson was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony robbery with a deadly weapon and is being held on a probation violation warrant issued from Michigan.

Detectives report information and anonymous tips were obtained throughout the day, which led to Roberson's arrest.

Daniel J. Edgar, 30, of Topeka, was apprehended after 4 p.m. Tuesday inside a mobile home in the 300 block of West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, and taken into custody without incident. He also faces a preliminary charge of felony robbery with a deadly weapon and is being held on a $20,250 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.

Monday's armed robbery occurred in the 8900 block of East Kosciusko County Road 500 North, North Webster.
