BairFind Foundation received Minor League Baseball's presidential citation during the opening session of baseball winter meetings last week in Washington, D.C.

The Jacksonville, Fla., foundation, which places concourse signs of missing children in sports stadiums, including Memorial Coliseum during Mad Ants home basketball games, received the special award for exemplary service.

Founder Dennis Bair, a former minor league baseball player, places the profiles of missing children in sports venues to increase a child's chance of being found. According to a previous News-Sentinel story about the foundation, Bair said out of 500 profiles featured this summer 182 children were safely found.
