Indiana State Police are asking for the public's help in solving a bank robbery reported about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Beacon Credit Union in the 1100 block of South Randolph Street in Garrett in DeKalb County.

Two men, who were dressed in dark clothing and wearing costume-type masks, reportedly entered the credit union, displayed a handgun and demanded money, a state police news release said. Credit union employees complied with the demand, and the men reportedly fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No employees or customers were injured during the incident, the news release said.

State police, who are continuing their investigation, believe the suspects may have fled in a black or dark-colored Ford Focus with a rear spoiler and no license plate.

Anyone with any information about the case is asked to contact the Fort Wayne state police post at 432-8661 or 1-800-552-0976 (Indiana only). Information can be left anonymously.
