One arrested after moped crash

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department arrested a man after responding to a traffic accident involving a moped at midnight Wednesday in the 3600 block of DeKalb County Road 19, according to a police report.

Timothy A. Harmes, 56, of Auburn, suffered minor injuries after he lost control of his moped and crashed. He suffered abrasions to his forehead and was transported to the hospital for treatment. He then was arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated, the report said.
