I am gratified that Sen. Joe Donnelly has made the decision to support Judge Gorsuch for the nominee to the Supreme Court. I realize that all but three Democrats, at this time. are denying the same decision, supposedly based on their ire about the Republicans refusal to consider the previous POTUS's nominee.
I know that it is common knowledge that Sen. Donnelly became our senator when the Republican candidate engaged his mouth before his brain. That is past.
I also know Sen. Donnelly was at the WWII memorial when I was on my Honor Flight 19 to Washington, D.C. I talked to him and also noted one other former senator was there, Sen. Dole. These two men appreciate the veterans, and I believe that Sen. Donnelly is doing much to help Indiana veterans and others.
I will give Sen. Donnelly the benefit of the doubt, and I do understand he is a Democrat who, hopefully, will not vote in lockstep with his party but will use his judgment for the people of Indiana.
