There are only two options for a believer in Christ. 1. Set yourself apart from the corruptness of others by your words, actions and deeds. Because you have been set apart by God for his purpose, this was accomplished when you put your faith in what Jesus did on the cross for you, or option 2. Become corrupt as non-believers and possibly in the end deny your faith and bring disgrace to the Holy God.
To believers, if you truly would like to grasp little more meaning out of what we confess, the Apostles creed, the Lord's prayer, the Sacrament of Baptism, the Sacrament of the Altar and the Ten Commandments, may I suggest a small book titled 'An explanation of Dr Martin Luther's small catechism' by Dr. M. Rue. Even though it has the word 'Luther' in it, it is written for all true believers in Christ. It is not a difficult read.
You can probably find it on www.abebooks.com (which is where I bought it) or maybe on Amazon or Half price books.
