LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Mark Hurt brings a fresh, unbiased perspective

Local attorney Mark Hurt, who runs a family practice in Noblesville and Kokomo, was the first official Republican to formally announce his intention to run for the 2018 United States Senate seat. He has experience working at both state and federal levels. Starting with United States Senator Dan Coats, whom he assisted with pharmaceutical and medical device issues, as well as creating medical/health savings accounts in the early 1990’s. Followed by U.S. Congressman Fred Gandy — who also played the role of Gopher on the famous TV show “Love Boat” — addressing issues relating to the Education and Labor Committee and Ways and Means Committee. And later serving as the Health Care Policy Adviser for Michigan Gov. John Engler.

Hurt brings a fresh, unbiased perspective to this federal level position. Like other movers and shakers in our government, he is not a career politician. He supports Hoosier interests and Midwest values, with the goal of benefitting all Americans.

Our nation needs leadership that respects the United States Constitution and that is why Mark Hurt has my vote for Indiana’s next U.S. Senator. For more information, please visit www.markhurt.com.
