I am appalled by the so-called president's speech as two-sided. Tearing down statues that were erected for centuries, which were not ruined until this year, 2017. Why? If you don't like the statues, then don't visit them.
There are so many governments that had slavery. We still in this year have slavery; they are called maids, limo drivers, valets, ushers — need I go on? I don't wish what went wrong in Virginia that one died and several were wounded. It was one person who thought he was justified driving into the crowd. Hopefully he will spend his life in prison!
Would European countries as well as Russians and Asians let their statues fall? This is our history, whether you like it or not. That's what makes America. I am sorry for any ethnic groups that were wronged or injured in the past.
Everyone in America, except some Indians, were exported to America by ocean and sea, so all of us are not nationals but are aliens from some other country. Persons are able to protest in a peaceful manner.
I want to hear both sides but not the end of fear. As to Trump's anger against Korea and other countries, his words are destruction. I don't know why he is still in office. He's destroying America! He's been vacationing more than he's been in office.
What is next after tearing down statues? God will have the final say, so beware of anti-ism to at least understand both sides.
I am in my late 60s and have never known a president to act as he does or keep changing his mind and firing so many officials he has selected. If by chance he is ousted, I hope Pence is ousted also. He has not done anything for Indiana. He has promised to keep GM in Fort Wayne but did not own up to it. They both are corrupt persons.
