On behalf of the Anna Yoder MS Fund at Indiana University School of Medicine-Fort Wayne, we express our thanks to Dick Thornton and his wife, Pam, for another successful golf tournament in which more than $5,000 was raised and donated to the Anna Yoder MS Fund.
All proceeds are used in northeast Indiana for multiple sclerosis research, education and outreach services. Despite having MS, Dick works tirelessly for months to organize and host the annual tournament. We also are deeply appreciative of the support of dozens of businesses who made in-kind auction donations or who sponsored teams or donated food.
A special thank you to Poorman's Heating & Air for providing the beverage and snack cart throughout the tournament and to the staff at Whispering Creek Golf Club for their excellent service.
To all who golfed, who donated or who volunteered, please know your involvement is helping improve the lives of some of the more than 7,000 individuals in northeast Indiana who are living with MS.
Jennifer Boen, director, and the advisory board of the Anna Yoder MS Fund, IU School of Medicine-Fort Wayne.
