According to statistics released in July of 2015, there were 98.4 million head of cattle in the United States. That was one year and four months ago, and before, much to everyone’s shock, Donald Trump was elected to be the 45th president of the United States.

I believe that if there was a new count taken of all the cattle, we would discover an unimaginable increase of the number of bovines since the election. All just waiting to be turned into yummy steaks and fed to the hungry customers at Wolfgang Puck’s or St. Elmo’s.

What proof do I have?

Simple.

As all of America has witnessed since Donald Trump’s election, every time he opens his mouth, it seems every liberal, Democrat, progressive and John McCain gets enraged and has a cow.

That adds up to a lot of cows.

OK, perhaps those on the left do not literally “have a cow.” But if you judged all of them by the comments they offer to the willing press, it sure seems they are doing everything within their power to produce a Grand Champion, 4-H calf.

Take for instance Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy’s reaction when Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. Why, you could almost hear the bleating cry of the newborn calf coming from the senatorial manger when Leahy whined “This is what obstruction looks like.” Keep in mind that both parties were calling for Comey’s removal when during the election he kept everyone guessing if he was or was not investigating Hillary Clinton.

Of course we could go back to election night, when liberals went to bed thinking that Hillary had it in the bag, only to be awakened to the sobs and pitiful weeping of ABC political analyst Martha Raddatz, when it became only too clear to her and many other Hillary disciples who claimed to be journalists that the Grande Dame was going down in defeat.

Following the bombing of the Syrian airfield after President Bashar al-Assad ordered Syrian pilots to drop chemical weapons on his own people, killing 100, including women and children, Congresswoman Barbara Lee denounced our president, saying his action was “An act of war.” She apparently had no comment to utter to a supportive press regarding the innocent Syrians who were killed, or for that matter former President Obama’s refusal to cross the “red line” he used to threaten al-Assad.

Of course, I cannot leave out the future speaker of the House (that according to the L.A. Times), Maxine Waters. Among her many memorable statements is her calling the president’s cabinet “A bunch of scumbags.” And when protesters were carried away by capital police from the offices of Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell’s office, Rep. Waters said President Trump “should be dragged to impeachment!” This is the same Maxine Waters Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington calls one of the “most corrupt members of Congress.”

None of this rhetoric is anything more than the call from liberals everywhere, including John McCain, to resist. The president nor any of us who voted for him will ever get a smidgen of respect from those who put their party before their country. Smears and name-calling is all they’ve got. So keep gorging yourselves on roast beef and cheeseburgers and porterhouses, there will be plenty to go around for the next 31/2 and, yes maybe even 71/2 years with all the cows being had by the left.
