Girls prep hoops: Saturday, November 18 top moments and performances

• LAMYIA WOODSON, SOUTH SIDE

The freshman had her breakout game, scoring 20 points with 10 rebounds in a 59-31 win over South Bend Washington.

• MIKEBA JONES, SOUTH SIDE

The senior came close to a triple double, scoring 16 points with nine rebounds and seven steals.

• BRIELLE WILSON AND BREANN BARGER, NORWELL

Each girl had four of their team’s 15 steals in a 57-50 loss to NorthWood. Wilson also scored a team high 16 points.

• MYA JACKSON, WAYNE

She scored 18 points as the Generals picked up their first win of the season over Adams Central, 29-28.

• LYDIA REIMBOLD, BISHOP LUERS

The sophomore scored 20 points with five rebounds and four assists in the Knights’ 58-44 win over Mississinewa.

• LEXI DELLINGER, SOUTH ADAMS

Dellinger scored a game high 15 points, knocking down three three-pointers in a 44-38 win over Union City.

• OLIVIA STERBA, BISHOP DWENGER

Registered 20 points and six steals in a 65-29 win over New Haven.

• ELLEN ROSS, BISHOP DWENGER

Ross pulled down 18 points and scored 10 points in the win over New Haven.

• SONY NARD, NEW HAVEN

She pulled down 12 rebounds in the Bulldogs’ 65-29 loss to Bishop Dwenger.

• MELEAH LEATHERMAN AND SYDNEY FREEMAN, CENTRAL NOBLE

The Cougar duo again scored big as Central Noble topped DeKalb, 53-48. Leatherman scored a team high 21 points and Freeman added 18.

• DEKALB GIRLS

Leigha Brown scored 16 points and had eight assists as the Barons fell to Central Noble. Allison Marlowe added 10 points.

• ELLIE SNEP, WHITKO

In a 64-56 loss to Madison-Grant, Ellie Snep scored a career high 26 points and added 20 rebounds.

• HUNTINGTON NORTH GIRLS

The Vikings took down Northfield, 50-44. Rileigh Johnson led the team with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Madalyn Robrock added 13 points and Hollyn Anderson dished out seven assists.
