Saint Francis announces a variety of summer basketball camps
University of Saint Francis basketball coaches Chad LaCross and Jason Ridge have announced a variety of youth camps to take place this summer.
A boys and girls fundamental camp will take place from June 4-7 at Saint Francis. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for kids entering grades 3-8. The cost of the fundamental camp is $200 and lunch is provided throughout the week.
From June 11-14, Saint Francis will host boys and girls post/perimeter and shooting camps. The camps are open for boys and girls, entering grades 3-12 and cost $110 each. The post/perimeter camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon and the shooting camp will be from 1-4 p.m. Kids can attend both the Post/Perimeter & Shooting Camps in the same week for $200. The gym will be supervised between camps and all campers will have access to a refrigerator if they choose to pack a lunch.
From July 16-19, Saint Francis will hold a second round of boys and girls post/perimeter and shooting camps. This camp too is open to those entering grades 3-12 and run from 9 a.m. to noon for the post/perimeter camp and 1-4 p.m. for the shooting camp.
There will be a boys only overnight camp held July 9-12. Campers who stay overnight will be in the suite-style Clare Hall for a cost of $295, which includes three meals per day. Campers can also choose to commute to Saint Francis at a cost of $255 per day, which includes two meals per day. The camp instruction will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. the first three days and then conclude at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 12. This camp is for boys entering grades 3 through 9.
Finally, Saint Francis will host a boys and girls Cougar Competition Camp from July 23-26. This camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon for boys and girls entering grades 3-8. The cost is $110.
