Fort4Fitness Spring Cycle set for Saturday; registration still available

Online registration ends today for the 7th Annual Fort4Fitness Spring Cycle, which takes place downtown Saturday.

Late registration is available from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday. To register online, visit Fort4Fitness.org.

The event, which includes the Metric Century 100K (63 miles) and races of 10, 16, 32 and 43 miles, begins with opening ceremonies at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Arts United campus, 300 E. Main St. The 100K and 43-mile tours start at 9 a.m., with the others starting at 10 a.m.

The event also includes a Spring Expo with vendors, Fort4Fitness merchandise, helmets and bike checks and repair. A Kid Zone with bicycle obstacle, bike decorating and trail mix will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Metric Century 100K will cross the Ohio state line to a mid-point in Antwerp, Ohio, and return.

Online registration is $35 for adults, $15 for ages 14 and younger. Late registration for adults is $40. The first 1,250 registered participants will receive a finisher medal.
