Fort Wayne plays again at home on Sunday.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 31 points with 16 rebounds in the Fort Wayne Mad Ants’ rousing return home. The Ants beat the Delaware 87ers 116-109 on Saturday at Memorial Coliseum, improving to 26-18 and staying in the thick of the playoff race. It was the Mad Ants' first home game in two weeks. Fort Wayne plays Austin at 5 p.m. Sunday at the coliseum.

Hansbrough, the former NBA big man, hit 12 of 17 shots and logged over 42 minutes in his best performance of the season. He recorded his second-straight double-double. He has had double-doubles in three of the last four games.

Four other Mad Ants players scored in double figures: Alex Poythress with 12 points, Trey McKinney-Jones with 20, Marquis Teague with 13 and Jordan Loyd with 12. Teague led the team with six assists. Travis Leslie scored nine points with three steals. The win was a key one as Fort Wayne to maintain a lead on Delaware in the playoff race.

Delaware (23-21) was led by Russ Smith with 22 points, Nate Robinson with 21 points and Aaron Harrison with 20 points
