Uthoff leads the way as Mad Ants win third straight Team retires Ron Howard’s jersey at halftime.

Jarrod Uthoff delivered a game for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants that served as a perfect salute to Ron Howard.

Howard, whose No. 19 jersey was retired at halftime, earned his nickname “Mr. Mad Ant” for contributing in every possible manner during his long run with the team.

Uthoff posted one of the team’s best lines of the season, scoring 23 points with 20 rebounds, four assists and three steals as the Mad Ants beat the Westchester Knicks 106-94 in front of a full house of 5,114 on Friday at Memorial Coliseum.
