The 2013 Indiana State Department of Agriculture Photo Contest has begun. Participants are encouraged to submit photos that are reflective of the changing seasons and capture a wide variety of all agriculture sectors, including livestock, specialty crops, cover crops and renewable fuels.
Contest winners will be the special guests of ISDA at the Indiana State Fair, where they will be recognized at the Celebration of Agriculture event. Winning photographs will be framed and featured in the offices of the lieutenant governor’s family of business in Indianapolis.
Winning photos also will be featured the 2014 Hoosier Ag Today calendar.
Categories include conservation, agritourism, faces of agriculture and on the farm. All photos must be taken in Indiana. Applicants may submit up to five entries digitally. Each submission must include an entry form. Deadline is June 1.
