Changes in historic preservation topic of April 27 ARCH lecture
History doesn’t change, but how people work to preserve history does. ARCH’s April 27 Fun & Free Lecture Series event will address that topic with “Preservation Tomorrow.” The lecture begins at 11 a.m. April 27 at the downtown Allen County Public Library in Meeting Room B.
Historic preservation is changing, and that message was loud and clear at the 2019 Indiana State Historic Preservation Conference that ARCH Executive Director Connie Haas Zuber recently attended. She will share news from the conference and highlights of statewide awards in this lecture.
The free event is part of ARCH’s Fun & Free Lecture Series supported by generous funding from Arts United, the Foellinger Foundation and the Sledd Foundation. The public is welcome. Information about ARCH and ARCH memberships will be available, but you do not have to be an ARCH member to attend.
