Fort Wayne Ballet to perform May 17, 18 and 24
Fort Wayne Ballet will hold its annual in-studio performance, Progressions, on Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m. andSaturday, May 18 at 7 p.m. in the Fort Wayne Ballet Studios located in the Auer Center for Arts & Culture, 300 E. Main St.
Progressions will be a celebration of all forms of dance, highlighting both new repertoire for the company and choreographic debuts from staff and dancers alike. Audience members can pick and choose their performance by selecting from the evening’s list of works and progress from one studio to another. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the performances. Tickets for the performances are $20 per person for general admission and can be purchased by calling the ArtsTix Community Box Office at (260) 422-4226 or at www.fortwayneballet.org.
Fort Wayne Ballet will present a free outdoor performance, Fort Wayne Ballet, Too on Friday, May 24th in Freimann Square. This last performance of the season will begin with activities at 7 p.m. and the professional company’s performance at 7:30 p.m. Works by former Artistic Associate David Ingram will be performed with support from Art’s United’s Amplify Art grant as well as other selections choreographed by Fort Wayne Ballet company members.
