Foghat to play the Clyde Aug. 1

English rock band Foghat will perform at Fort Wayne’s Clyde Theatre Aug. 1. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m.

Reserved seating tickets go on sale Friday, May 24, for $39, $45, $55 and $65.

Foghat is known for its energetic live performances, use of the electric slide guitar in their music and the hit single “Slow Ride.” The band formed in London in 1971 and consisted of Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens, Roger Earl, and Rod Price. Earl has continued to tour and release new music to keep their legacy alive. The current Foghat lineup includes Earl, Bryan Bassett, Charlie Huhn, and Rodney O’Quinn.
