Free concert at Georgetown Square Friday night

Georgetown Square will present The Junk Yard Band’s performance of favorites from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s in a free concert on Friday, June 28. from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Icey Princess will be at the concert to visit, take photos and sing three live songs during intermission. Princess fans are encouraged to dress in their own princess attire. Paw Hero will also be available for photos. The event will be in the parking lot of the shopping center on East State Boulevard.

Food and drinks will be offered by Bandido’s, and the Georgetown Library will have activities for children as well.

The final concert of the season will be the Hubie Ashcraft Band on Aug. 23, with Spidey Guy and Cinderella as guests for children.

“We are so happy that Parkview Hospital Randallia continues its partnership in hosting the concert series again this year,” Steve Jehl, manager of Georgetown Square, said in a statement. “These wonderful music events are a great anchor to our lineup of family-friendly events this summer and we are pleased that they benefit northeast Fort Wayne residents.”
