Fort Wayne Police believe Tavassol was involved in a domestic disturbance with a woman and climbed onto her moving vehicle as she tried to leave at around 6:36 p.m. Dec. 12. He fell off the vehicle near the intersection of Coldwater Road and Laddie Lane, landing in the road, and was struck by a passing motorist.

Initial information indicates a man was driving a pickup southbound on South Clinton that collided with Montgomery’s SUV, which was eastbound on East Pontiac, according to police.
Investigators believe that speed and alcohol were factors in this crash, however, they have not released which vehicle had the right way.
Her cause of death is blunt force trauma from the crash and her death was ruled the 41st from a fatal motor vehicle crash in Allen County in 2017.
A third victim of a separate crash has also been identified.
