1956 - Swimmers practice their water ballet March 19, 1956, at the YWCA on Wayne Street. They were to be part of swim and gym class demonstrations at the YWCA's International Holidays show, with two performances set for April 26.
1994 - Geoffrey Kelsaw directs the gospel group rehearsal for their concert with Philharmonic.
1997 - The facade of the Midtowne Crossing on the corner of Wayne and Calhoun streets.
1998 - Amy Szwabowicz of Fort Wayne, looks through the racks of clothes at the Salvation Army Thrift Store at the corner of Fairfield Ave. and Jefferson Blvd. She says the her friends can't believe the bargains she is able to find.
1999 - Parks Department employee John Minnick repairs soccer goals at Kreager Park
2001 - Tulips break through the rapidly melting snow at Foster Park. A sure sign of spring.
2003 - Tobias Kalb, 16, enjoys one of Ft. Wayne's famous Coney Island coney dogs Wednesday. Kalb is one of 22 students from Ludenscheid, Germany being hosted by Concordia Lutheran High School. The students are enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of Ft. Wayne and other Midwestern cities including Chicago during their stay.
2003 - Shawna Nicelley of G.I. Joe's Army Surplus at 1638 Wells Str. shows off one of several pins the store has in stock to show support for U.S. troops at war in Iraq.
2003 - Melissa Ashley of G.I. Joe's Army Surplus at 1638 Wells St. counts a stack of American flags she has put out for sale.
2006 - Komets defenseman Troy Neumeier, center, tires to clear Kalamazoo's Lucas Drake out of the slot in front of goalie Kevin St. Pierre during the Komets' 4-1 loss to the Wings at Memorial Coliseum.
2007 - House at 2903 Oxford St. where a car carrying two shooting victims crashed under a chain-link fence and into the garage,
2007 - Barry Shaw stands outside the Kmart south store on Anthony Blvd. where he worked for 29 years before being fired after a confrontation with a belligerent customer. Shaw claims he was fired due to his age and race.
2007 - A young member of the audience took advantage of the balcony to get a birds-eye view of the choir.
2009 - Antiwar protester Francis Frellick, far right, of Fort Wayne, gives his views on the sixth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq during a demonstration Thursday evening at the Courthouse Green.
2011 - Canterbury Lower School fourth-grader Sam Witwer shows off his model magnetic levitation train he made for his science fair project. Witwer is one of about 250 students competing today for cash and prizes in the Northeast Indiana Regional Science Fair at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

2014 - IPFW senior Luis Jacobo brings the basketball up the court during the Mastodons' 97-91 win over Akron in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament first round on Wednesday at the Gates Center.
