1957 - Charles Lodge, a civil engineer, is working on the new Spy Run Avenue bridge on June 10, 1957, where he is in charge of estimating and designing. Lodge lived in Panama for 20 years, where he worked on projects in Central and South America.

1994 - Jack Burson, left, president of the Summit Investment Club updates the group on what he has read about stocks since the last meeting.
1994 - A newly hatched butterfly rest on its' empty chrysalis shortly after emerging.
1999 - Traffic down Main Street.
1999 - Brad Ash cuts exterior insulating foam to be put up on the new facade of the Georgetown Square shopping center. Workers expect the renovations to be complete by September.
2002 - Dan Moran places a ticket on a car parked illegally in a handicapped space at the Glenbrook Mall Friday evening. Moran is a volunteer enforcement specialist for the City of Fort Wayne. The tag in the window is out of date.
2003 - Charlie Cummings sits with the soup bowls he and others at his studio have designed for the upcoming Community Harvest Food Bank at the Summit Club Friday.
2005 - Sisters Olivia, 4, and Rachel Mohr, 3, take a closer look at the butterfly exhibit at the Follinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory Friday afternoon. The girls were visiting the Conservatory with their family.
2005 - Canal Days in New Haven, Friday evening.
2008 - Trays of the cookies await their second Wednesday morning at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The women were preparing baked goods to sell at Greekfest.
2009 - Fort Wayne resident Jackie Claussen (left) purchases produce from Dwight Fishburn's (right) stand at the farmer's market at Jefferson Point.
2010 - Fort Wayne Firefighters battled a house fire at 909 Parkview early Thursday afternoon. The building had four apartments and four families , 11 people, were displaced. There was heavy fire damage to the structure The fire is still under investigation.
2011 - John Ganaway,Valedictorian, was applauded after delivering his message. During the last graduation of a class from Paul Harding High School. There were 117 Seniors taking the walk.
2011 - Harding athletic director Keith Edmonds is packing up - again. East Allen County Schools is closing it as a high school. Last year, he was at Elmhurst, which Fort Wayne Community Schools closed.
2015 - Cushla the ring-tailed lemur is a new mother after twin sons Zeus and Apollo were born June 10. The family was enjoying a few rain-free moments Thursday afternoon at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
2016 - Blackhawk Christian High School baseball coach Kevin Kinnison, center with bat, talks to his players at practice Thursday as they prepare for Saturday's Class A semistate.
